There's a lot to be done for the big day which means personal touches without the stress are just what you need.
Designer, Kelly, knew she wanted unique save-the-dates; something cost-effective that wouldn't eat away too many hours in preparation. She found the answer in this fabulous mix of homemade and professional print.
Kelly printed boxes of MiniCards featuring shots of herself and her fiance, Terrell, as children. Super-cute, these little cards each have their names and the date of the wedding on the reverse.
While we took care of the colour printing, Kelly used her own black and white printer at home to print more details on to brown card. Printing each sheet 'four-up', she took the final results to a local print shop to get them neatly trimmed.
A little time with a rounded corner cutter gave the edges of the brown card a more friendly feel - and by the sound of it, Terrell some achy fingers!
To make sure the MiniCards didn't get lost in the envelope, the backs were secured with a little sticker to the decorative string, which was then tied neatly around the bigger brown card.
The final result is a sweet little save-the-date, to be treasured by all who receive it.
Many congratulations to Kelly and Terrell! See these save-the-dates being created over on Flickr
