There are so many places you can see examples of old style type, and I was wandering around an antiques market when I found myself looking through printer trays and admiring some of the most simple, bold lettering. I wanted to combine that with photography. Simple but effective.

About the designer

Matt Avery is a designer and art director who grew up in Essex, and now lives in East London. When not working at MOO you might find him playing music with the band 'Kindness', or trying to get his drum machines to work. He has a hatred of Croc shoes.

  • Can I get these designs on your other products too?
    Some MOO Designs are available on multiple products, but we don't have an easy way to browse them at the moment (sorry!). If you'd like to try and find matching products, we'd recommend searching for the pack name on the relevant product's "MOO Designs" page.
