The starting point for this design was the fictional character Craig Schwartz, from the movie ‘Being John Malkovich – played by John Cusak. He’s an unemployed puppeteer who gains a file clerk job at LesterCorp in the strange floor 7 1/2 of the Flemmer Building, so this business card design is very flexible (not only for file clerks): it comes in four colour schemes and can be edited on both sides. Naturally, if you’re a control freak, a computer geek, or you just like everything well organized you will feel at home.

About the designer

Before landing in the UK in late 2005, Nuno Moutinho had already begun his work as a Graphic Designer in Portugal and Spain. Graduated in 2004 with a BA in Visual Design from IADE University, Portugal, his main influences come from Scandinavian Design and pretty much anything printed. Actually, Print is more like an obsession. Having had work done in several different creative fields from Interiors to Fashion, it's Illustration, Typography and Identity that bring out the best in Nuno's work.
